The views are amazing. The hike, a little painful. But, oh, so completely worth it.
While we were up on the hill we went into the old Cork City Jail...
Proves that looks can be deceiving. From the outside it looks like a castle, but go inside and the eeriness that comes with a jail definitely begins to envelop you.
Here we took a tour, found out a lot about who had been jailed here and for what, including pregnant women and children. Not the happiest of places.
You know what's the eeriest part? The architect who designed the jail also designed UCC...my current school. Fun fact right?

Haha, I'd probably be way too scared to check out the entire place. Well, maybe with some company I would...but only during the day! Eerieness aside, it looks like it was a lot of fun! :D
