The Purpose: To log the next year of my life-the ups, the downs, and the in-betweens-in a manner that will let my friends and family know that, yes, I am still alive, even 4000+ miles away.

The Plan: To post pictures, music, food, art, and other new discoveries, along with a written log of my everyday, ordinary or not, life as the year progresses.

  1. These photos are absolutely beautiful! But by far, the pictures that stand out to me the most are those of the Eiffel Tower and the Frost-Covered Flower.
The picture of the Eiffel Tower, although a bit cliche, can really only be described as epic. You can already imagine climbing the tower to be an incredible journey, but all the lights surrounding it make it look like the tower itself is among the stars.
As for the other one, it's a fantastic photo, but in a much more reminiscent/nostalgic manner. It's simple but I can't help but feel so much symbolism emanating from it. It's like a secret hidden in the bud of a shivering flower.
